The High Tower of Iriaebor, Your New Pad

After many threats and much cajoling, Jakwis Alderham, Sinister Stave of the Lady Bethoene, has agreed to give you a partial tour of the High Tower of Iriaebor (pictured above in the map from Power of Faerun). I decided not to tell him that you might very well be a guest here in the future.

[Entrance * Great Hall * Throne Chamber]

[Dining Hall * Royal Audience Chamber * Royal Presence Chamber]

[Fountain Chamber * Blue Audience Chamber * Chapel of the Triad (from Fountain Chamber)]

[Forest Audience Chamber * Staghead Audience Chamber * Dragonwing Audience Chamber]

Why would I wanna go adventuring when I can just kick back and hang out in a place like this?

Nice work, Zach!

The rose room is my favorite.

Call me OCD, the candlebra is off center on the pillar.

Wow. Fine art. Your stuff always looks unbelievable.

Wow, the interiors look great. If this has the same mix of excellent areas and well judged balancing it will be another 9+ average module on the vault for sure.

Thanks a bunch guys. It is motivating!

Ernie--Thanks--though the credit is also the hak's--The true pieces of fine art in these pics owe their existence to Thomas_B's excellent paintings hak. The other haks in the Community Core pack were also extremely valuable. I can't imagine modding without those things now!

Dirtywick, I will certainly investigate this serious issue soon!

Jclef, unfortunately I probably won't figure out any scripts for letting you sit, eat, or lie down, so there's not going to be much else to do here except run around, look at things, and gab--and when that's the case adventure can't be too far off, right?

Kisaragi and Robert--Thanks for the motivation!!!!!!!

Oh, I thought you'd been using Amraphael's neat pictures-as-FX trick.

It really opens up the possibilities.

Your sense of color and balance, your creativity and use of light are remarkable. You'd make a fine interior decorator I'm sure! ;)

Very nice work.

I'm with Jclef : I can't imagine why my PC needs to go outside in the cold ruins when he could enjoy this place.
I hope you can find a logical reason for that. If not, the entire mod may feel unbelievable.:D

Awildawn

PS : I just remebered that my character was a ranger... he may agree to go outside once in a while.

A little late in the game, but better late than never. Nice looking areas, Maerduin. Great choice of colors for the walls/ceilings/floors as well. I really get the sense of nobility from the screenshots.

And I would have to agree with Dirtywick, the Rose room would have to be my favorite as well :)

Looks great, I think you've really captured how a city's ruler would live.

I'm looking forward to kicking back in there after a long day of courtly intrigue.

I hope time spent designing houses does not come off of time designing epic-level encounters with GOBLINS!!!

Thanks guys!

Anonymous--no, no goblins.

Fantastic areas! You should create a tutorial on nwn2 area design as these, along with the exteriors from previous posts, look highly professional. I’m looking forward to Bron's Daughter (are you a George R R Martin fan by any chance?)

That looks really cool! :D I love grand halls. :) This bodes very well for the next module.

By the way, I've added your blog to my own NWN Blog so if you feel like it, perhaps you could add mine to yours? My blog adress is berra-nwn.blogspot.com
